POWWC #2 & Announcements!

Hello, everyone! As promised, I am back with POWWC #2 today! I also have some announcement, and I’m actually really excited for these!

Short entry today, but I still hope you enjoy it!

     With her whole body quivering in shock, she let the dagger drop from her hands… Until the shaking stopped. Then she laughed. She laughed, her whole body convulsing. She laughed, falling on the floor in hysterics. She fell in the red blood, staining the white tile. She fell on the man’s body, and screamed. She did it. She did it. No one sSteals her tarts.

The Queen of Hearts, she made some tarts,
      All on a summer’s day;
The knave of Hearts, he stole the tarts,
      And took them clean away.

The children’s leers came back to her– why? Why now, in her moment of victory?

 

Mary, Mary.

Quite contrary.

How does your garden grow?

Will silver bells,

and cockle shells,

and pretty maids all in a row.

“He’s not pretty… and he’s not a maid…”

She laughs again.

“But oh, my once darling, you would still look so good in my garden.”

I know, I know. I need to write about happier things. But when you have a prompt with a dagger, what else can you do?  And also, after seeing Suicide Squad, (post on that later) craziness is sort of ‘in’ for me right now. In case you couldn’t tell, gurl crazy. That’s why she’s laughing in blood. OH– if you feel this was too gory, please tell me, I tried to keep as much actual violence out as possible, but she did murder somebody over a tart. Please, please PLEASE! Tell me, and I will remove it immediately.  I wouldn’t want to make any of my wonderful readers feel uncomfortable.

OH– and poem tomorrow! I haven’t posted one in a long time!
