Hey everyone!

Just wanted to let y’all know some very exciting news.

NaNoWriMo started today!

For NaNo, I decided to write off of this 2k word thingy I wrote. Don’t worry, the 2k words won’t go into my NaNo WordCount.

But…

I didn’t want to tell all you experienced writers this, but the farthest I’ve ever gotten in writing a novel is 3,260 words. After that, the idea well just dried up.

ALAS,

I am proudly reporting to you guys with 3,261 total words of my story! Although most of you’ve all heard of it before, it’s the first edition of a series called Lost Worlds! This one is starring a very special place…

Atlantis!

I wrote 1,008 words today. I’m very proud of myself! I even rewarded myself with a bit of Halloween candy 🙂

  3. I didn’t write a hole lot today, because I was SO tired from working cattle (through the chute- exhausting. 😛 *cowgirl feelings*) but I still made myself write a bit! Total, I have 3,064 words written! So not as many as you! 😉 I’m about 200 words behind you still! Hehe! *goes off to write more*

    1. Well, you were actually ahead of me at the time! Like, wayyyyy ahead! I had inly written about 1k words. but then i wrote another 1k late late that night, and i just finsihed writing today at 3.3k words!

    Hmm, as for nano, I have written 12,000 something words. As for today, though, I haven’t started writing yet. *rubbs hands evil-y*

      1. Oh, that’s cool!!! I wouldn’t know, I don’t do the YWP. I am on the Regular site. Do they let you have buddies from the YWP on the Regular site?! Oh, no, I didn’t mean that I WROTE 12,000 in one day. I jumped the gun and started writing a few days before NaNo began… I average 2,000 a day. 12k, I’d die.

        1. OHHH, that makes more sense. yeah, same! I’ve written 2000 words but my story is about 5k because its an old one i just decided to brush the dust off and use for nano. 2k is awesome! I’m not a fan of the design of the adult site, and i feel like the ywp gets everything thats on it done.

          1. Yeah, totally! What I meant was, my current tally is 12K… Well, since I told you, it has upped to 13K, but you know what I mean. 🙂 I wouldn’t know. 🙂

  6. I have 3,000 words so far. Yep … I’m as shocked as you are. What the heck? I guess I won’t write tomorrow?!?! XD Seriously, though, I struggled with 1,000 a day last year … this is unfair! Can I donate 1,000 words from this year to last year?! 😛

    1. Wow, 3k! I pulled myself together long enough, stop watching netflix, and write another 1k. My current tally is 2,003. it’s mostly gibberish, but… i’m doing it! I’m really writing a novel!
